Belated New Year's Resolutions

In no particular order:

1. Organize my room
I realized I haven't decorated or organized my bedroom since moving into my apartment, 6 months ago. That's a little ridiculous and I know if I do this, it will definitely help me when I need to work in there, which is more often than I would like to. It also means I may be able to fit a friend's TV in there that I'm guarding while she's abroad, meaning I'll be able to watch movies again even though my Apple's cd drive is busted

2. Do more of everything, better
Last semester was a bit like re-living the first semester of Com Design last year. I was a nutcase. I was trying to do lots of everything, school, play, work, etc. and not seeming to be doing well at any of it. I think I've learned my lesson for the final time!

3. Have an Amazing Summer!
The Key to this is to get an internship! Preferably in New York.

4. Be happy/appreciate what I've got
The economy is lame. So my goal is to stop superfluous trips to the mall, to get crafty and redesign, and find better ways to make my world beautiful!

Home again

Oi Vey! So glad to be home! I realized I haven't been home for more than 72 hours since May when school got out. It definitely takes a while to get used to being back, not only because I'm living with my family again, but because I'm in Maine. Which, is a bit different than Syracuse (to say the least), even though the snowfall is about the same. I've already been in Wal-Mart 4 times in less than 4 days, my friends at school would die if they knew this. They also don't believe me when I say that one of the best places in town to hang out at is...the truck stop.

Hell Month at the Warehouse

It's 'hell week' for the Frat pledges here at Syracuse. I personally don't think they have any idea what 'hell week' is. Here in Communications Design, we have a whole month, where we have to finish up our last project and then re-do them all for finals.

It's not uncommon to see people bring in sleeping bags, toothbrushes, and medication into the studio at this time of the year. The sleep deprivation is going to make things strange very quickly.
